FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear has created a special unit to investigate sexual assault cold cases.
Funded by a $3 million federal grant, the unit includes a victim advocate, investigator and prosecutor.
The funding will also cover the cost to test any remaining untested rape kits. Beshear says every kit in Kentucky wil be tested without exception.
