Grand Jury Declines to Indict Officer in Shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A grand jury declined to indict a Louisville Metro Police officer who shot and wounded an unarmed man last year.

Body camera video showed Officer Sarah Stumler shooting Bruck Warrick as he hid behind a mattress in an abandoned home.

Stumler claims she accidentally fired her gun after shouting "Show me your hands!"

Warrick was shot in the abdomen.   He recovered, and is now suing Stumler, the police department and the city.

The grand jury heard testimony Tuesday before returning a "no true bill" in the case.
