Louisville Survivor Of Mass Shooting Wants New Law In Ohio, Kentucky

(Louisville, KY) - A Louisville mother who survived a deadly mass shooting says it's time for Kentucky and Ohio to adopt a red-flag law like Indiana's.

Former Fifth Third Bank executive Whitney Austin was shot 12 times while visiting the company's headquarters in Cincinnati last fall.

Austin posted a video to Facebook Monday saying it's time for Ohio and Kentucky to have a path to take guns away from people deemed dangerous on a temporary basis.

She said a similar extreme risk protection order law in Indiana has been saving lives since 2005.
