Kentucky Governor Mandates Face Masks In Public For At Least One Month

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is mandating everyone in the state cover their faces in public for at least the next month.

Beshear signed an executive order will require face masks starting at 5 p.m. Friday.  He says it will be enforced by local health officials.

Beshear says anyone refusing to wear a mask may be refused service.  He says it's not too much to ask of Kentuckians during a global pandemic.
