ISP Asking For Help Identifying Body Of Child Found Saturday

(Washington County, IN) - Indiana State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the body of a deceased boy found over the weekend.

Troopers say someone hunting for mushrooms found the child's remains in a wooded area Saturday evening at around 7:30. The boy is described as Black, about 4-feet tall with a thin build and a short haircut. He is estimated to be between five- and eight-years-old.

Anyone with information that could help identify the child is asked to call police.
