(Louisville, KY) - Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend Thunder Over Louisville on Saturday.
LMPD is asking those planning to attend to park as far away from downtown as possible and try to walk or bike to their viewing spot.
Some closures will also start Thursday evening and won't reopen until Sunday.
LMPD says they're confident the event will be safe and secure despite fewer officers on the force than in previous years.
