LAST NIGHT'S DEBATE WAS INTERESTING FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS It's unfortunate that Smirkin' Joe Biden created such a distraction with all of his laughing and interrupting.  I don't feel like I learned anything.  Except Joe Biden lied about Libya and that he voted against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  I though Paul Ryan seemed TOO earnest.  I wasn't impressed by anyone, frankly. 

IS 4TH STREET LIVE WORTH IT? The Mayor's office is using a new study to say YES!  But the study's author says, not so fast.  I am hoping that going forward we can all look back on things like 4th Street Live (and possibly the YUM! Center) and say we should support things like this in PRIVATE industry, but keep tax dollars out of it.  They never live up to the promised made.

LINDSEY GRAHAM NEEDS TO GO Senator Lindsey Graham made time for a campaign call with reporters for Senator Joe Minchin of West Virginia.  Minchin is a Democrat.  Why?  Because Rand Paul's SuperPAC is running ads asking why Minchin voted against ending foreign aid to Egypt.

A LONG TERM SUSPENSION???? A middle school boy attacks and hits and kicks his female teacher, injuring her so badly she had to seek medical help and the JCPS policy is a "long-term suspension"?  I don't care how long the suspension is, the kid needs to be expelled.  Period.  No word on if he will be charged with assault, but if he isn't, teachers throughout the system should howl.  Long term suspension for assaulting a teacher?  Do you have to kill someone to get kicked out?

MMMMM, CHEESE. My favorite little specialty grocery store had the most amazing cheese shop, with a person there all the time who could answer questions and suggest cheeses based on what I was looking for.  Now my favorite Kroger does too.
