CONGRATS TO CHUCK HADDAWAY! At least we got ONE on the school board, although it remaines to be seen what happens after Teddy Gordon's suit is filed against David Jones, Jr. District 7 did exactly what I feared it would. Robertson and Sexton split the vote and Brady got in. Damn.
REPUBLICANS PICKED UP SOME HOUSE SEATS but not enough to be the game changer they hoped for. But the fact the GOP is gaining seats at all is a big story in a state where Democrats have run things pretty unfettered for much of the last century. More on this later.
THE OVERALL TAKEAWAY IS THIS I hope I am wrong about what another four years of Obama will do to us, a gajillion dollars has been spent and not much has changed anywhere. Back to the salt mines for us.
