Mandy pontificates about all things political, some things superfluous, and occasionally things nonsensical. Topped off with Word of the Day, you will most assuredly learn something...even if that something is that Mandy doesn't necessarily know much about anything.

Born in a small town in North Florida, Mandy grew up a suburban redneck child. After attending THE Florida State University, where she majored in Theater (because that seemed like a good and viable profession at the time) she dropped out of college to become a Flight Attendant for Delta Airlines. After travelling the world for five years, she attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and began her career in radio in Orlando. She has worked in every genre of talk radio since starting her career at Real Radio 104.1 WTKS doing hot talk. After interviewing more porn stars than any self respecting woman should, she moved to Sports Talk WQTM 540 The Team. After leaving the Orlando market to move back to North Florida, she worked in the News Department of The Sky 97.3 WSKY in Gainesville, FLorida. On 9/11, she watched, along with the rest of the world, as the Twin Towers fell, and thus began the paradigm shift that redefined her perspective. She is now a recovering dirty foot hippie liberal, conservative libertarian. She loves her job, her husband, her two nearly grown sons that she didn't have the privilege of giving birth to, and her nearly brand new daughter that she did give birth to. Two dogs round out the bunch, and make her life as good as she ever hoped it could be. Not that she's gloating, because that would be rude.
