TAX REFORM IS IN THE NEWS AGAIN.  The so-called Tax Reform Commission is trying to figure out how to raise taxes on us again, this time using the income tax code.  The Guvnah says the huge pension shortfall won't be made up taking money from education (or any other large democrat voting block group) so he wants to take it from us.  I have two suggestions: legalize the 1.5 billion dollars in pot that was confiscated last year and tax it.  Or tax the money from the Legislative pension fund and make up the difference.  We shall discuss.

WE'RE FINALLY #1 ON AN AWESOME LIST! The Lonely Planet travel guide has named Louisville the #1 travel destination in the United States!  I love Lonely Planet because they don't tell you about the obvious tourist destinations and usually provide super cool little hotels and restaurants.  I personally believe this will put us on the "must do" visit of a great demographic of cool urban dwellers looking for something different.  Thanks, Lonely Planet!

SYRIA IS DANGLING IT'S TOES OVER THE RED LINE It would appear that the Assad regime is testing it's boundaries or is going to destroy the Syrian people in a blaze of chemical weapons as the regime collapses.  One thing missing from this story.  Where did Syria get the chemical weapons?  Do you think they still have Saddam Hussein's name scribbled the side?  Has anyone in the MSM asked that question?  I'd really like to know.

I'M ENJOYING MCCONNELL'S GAMESMANSHIP Sen Mitch McConnell tried to attach the President's nonsense fiscal cliff offer as an amendment to another bill for the sole purpose of forcing the Senate to vote on it.  Harry Reid said no. Because he knows no Democrat would vote for that garbage.
