SO NOW PENSION PROBLEMS ARE "MONSTROUS" I guess I should be glad the Governor is finally hip to how bad the pension problems in the Commonwealth are but I gotta tell you, I'm still a little steamed about how eloquently he lied to the people of Kentucky during the last campaign.  He was either completely ignorant of the largest fiscal issue his government faces, or he lied.  Which do you think it is?  And why isn't any of the media asking him about that now?  Here is the transcript of last night's speech, when he told legislators to raise taxes (well, he called it "tax reform") and overhaul the pension system.  It's a PDF is your computer has trouble with that.

WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING IN JEFFERSONVILLE? I have to say, Mayor Mike Moore has certainly shaken things up.  Now there is some question about what to do with property purchased by the city for a canal project that is going nowhere.  Do they sell it or lease it to a museum I'm guessing has very little traffic now?  Can someone answer these questions for me?
