DID YOU WATCH THE STATE OF THE UNION? I watched about five minutes and managed to hear our President say that we should not "occupy those nations" and got disgusted and turned it off. I did read it this morning though, which you can do by clicking here, if you want. But before you get too giddy about what was said, please go back and read the SOTU 2009 and find out how much of what the POTUS said then turned out to be true.
BEST SOTU COLUMN I'VE SEEN THIS MORNING John Tamny of Forbes simply decimates the empty promises made by PrezBO last night. And he's right. Read it here.
THIS PROVES THE LEFT CAN'T HAVE AN ADULT CONVERSATION The fact that Rubio's response has become all about the sip of water shows me the Left can't dare have a conversation about he actual words that came out of his mouth. Shocking, I realize.
RAND PAUL DELIVERED THE TEA PARTY RESPONSE 30 years ago, it would've been the Republican response. Today, it's considered fringe. Watch it here.
WILL THE STATE FOLLOW THROUGH ON IT'S PROMISES? Education Commissioner Terry Holliday is talking very tough. Finally. He said yesterday that the state may be forced to take over the Persistenly Low Achieving Schools in Jefferson County. If this state would get it's head out of it's collective rear ends and allow charter schools, this would not be necessary. At least charter schools would not be allowed to remain this miserable year after year.
