ODD THAT THIS STORY WOULD APPEAR ON THE FRONT PAGE At the same time there is legislation working it's way through Frankfort that would install some tort reform for nursing home operators.  I'm sure there is nothing to the timing.  However, this article is why I am doing ads for the BeeHive Homes of Smyrna.  Because they are an assisted living facility that is simply outstanding.

THERE IS A LOT HERE THAT BOTHERS ME So there was a basketball game and the school officials declared it a "black out".  We all know that means weare black shirts, right?  Some students (and this was an 8th grade championship game) wore masks that were black, one of Obama and a gorilla mask.  Stupid?  Yes.  Should they have been told masks weren't allowed?  Yes.  But in this article, the offended parents, who have black children who were playing on the opposing team, seem more outraged that the students didn't realize what they did was offensive.  Though I can see their point, there is another way to look at it.  Let's just say these young people weren't trying to offend black people because they don't think of race in the same way grownups do.  Though they did something stupid, did they do it with the INTENTION of making a racial statement?  Only they know, but being around children these days is quite illuminating when it comes to race.  Most of them simply don't care.  They have friends of all colors and it doesn't matter to them as long as they have something in common.  When we make a huge issue about this, as this now is, we force OUR perceptions on race on a generation which doesn't need our problems.  Tell them they were wrong and call it a day.  Making the entire school sit through diversity awareness is ridiculous.  Of course, they could be racist idiots, but only they know what's in their hearts.

AND HERE COMES THE OBAMACARE JOBS HIT Businesses are coming out of the closet admitting they will make changes to hours or staffing levels to comply with Obamacare, or just opt out and pay the fine.  This is one of those "I told you so" things that I hate being right about.  This bill is a job's killer and the Democrats own it.  I guess that's something, if the news media ever holds them accountable for this disgraceful piece of garbage bill. 

WHY LADIES SHOULD LOVE GUNS In Colorado, the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs has come with nifty ideas of what to do if you're about to be raped.  I especially love vomiting or peeing on your attacker.  I prefer to pull out my handgun and shoot the bastard.  But I'm sure telling a rapist you have VD should do it.  Seriously, read this.
