I LOVE SNOW LIKE THE SNOW FALLING THIS MORNING We just need more of it.  And yes, I realize many of you think I'm insane.

SENATOR MITCH MCCONNELL AT 9:15 I'll ask him if all the buildings in DC fell down because of the sequester.

WANT TO DINE IN A FANCY MANSION? The Old Louisville Chamber is doing Dinner at the Mansions March 10th.  Earline Bisig Zimlich will in at 11:35 to discuss how you can participate. Get more information by clicking here or calling 502-637-2922.

IS A "FRESH FACE" WHAT KENTUCKY YEARNS FOR? Greg Stumbo says Ashley Judd would be a formidable candidate because she is a "fresh face".  What does that mean?  She is a pro-abortion (she's getting an award today from a women's reproductive rights group), mountain-top removal and coal hating liberal.  But I guess the Democrats are counting on you to be super impressed because she's a movie star.  And based on the fact that a complete moron who was a UK basketball star got elected TWICE as Ag Commissioner, they may be right.

"FEELINGS HAVE BEEN HURT"???? What, are we in preschool in Frankfort?  When asked if he would do the right thing and bring SB50, the hemp bill, up in committee, Rep. Tom McKee said, and I quote,

"We're very polarized, and feelings have been hurt,"

Feeling have been hurt?  Are you flipping kidding me?  That was right before he said that we need to back away from the issue and let it go for now.  HE is the one who won't let this bill come up for a vote.  HE is the one who is obstructing the process by abusing his power as Committee chair.  HE is the one who I will urge you to donate money against in the next election cycle.  HE must be the one who got his feelings hurt then.  Because nobody else is complaining about hurt feelings.  They are just ticked.  I'll see if we can get him on the show for a pity party for his hurt feelings.

FINALLY GREG STUMBO FINDS SOMEONE TO BLAME I knew he wouldnt' make it through the session without finding a new bogeyman now that David Williams isn't there anymore.  And yesterday, he busted out this gem:

"I am sorry that they choose to do that. I guess they are following their brethren and their fearless leader Sen. (Mitch) McConnell whose directions are apparently coming down from Washington that gridlock is something good."

So the "gridlock" in Frankfort is Mitch McConnell's faultYou heard it right, folks, Mitch McConnell's fault.  Democrats, are you not the least bit embarrassed by your party, which seems to want to accomplish NOTHING that won't benefit them politically?  Do away with unreasonable pensions to keep the state from financially collapsing?  No way, not if it upsets the public sector unions.  Charter schools?  Not a chance, if it upsets the education labor unions.  Allow hemp?  Not a chance, their pot dealers are against it.  What, if anything, have the Democrats done in this session to actually move the Commonwealth forward?
