OAKS AND SMOKES JUST GOT BETTER! As if that's even possible. The best party of the year just got better and my friend Tim Root from Kentucky Harvest is bringing a special guest in today to discuss why you need to buy your tickets now. Get them by clicking here.
KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID KISS is the acronymn that is used by many industries, but apparently the Obama administration missed the memo when it came to the application for Obamacare. It was more complicated than filing taxes when it came out, and people balked. So they dumbed it down. Why? Wait until I tell you what David Gregory said this morning on Morning Joe. I laughed for 10 minutes until I cried because the libs are finally getting hip to what a house of cards this whole thing is.
NICE NOT WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT We finally know what the alleged Boston Bombers took in benefits from the US Welfare system. Sit down. A little over 100 thousand bucks in 10 years. Nope. I'm not kidding. See, they can make your head explode too!
BLAME BUSH FOR THE DROP IN HOMELESSNESS This is just a nice article that caught my eye about an accomplishment of the Bush Administration that gets no play. I knew that there was an initiative to get homeless vets off the streets, but I didn't know it had been so successful.
WHY DON'T WE ALL GET OUR ENERGY THIS WAY? An aluminum smelter just won the right to buy energy at market rates while only paying a slight mark up to the power company to transact the deal. Good news, it saved hundreds of jobs. I realize my depth of knowledge about how energy is bought and sold is about as deep as a bag of Doritos but why can't we all do this? Isn't this what we do now, in a way? I need to find out more about how this whole thing works.
THE BOURBON BOOM! It may spawn another baby boom. Bourbon is hot stuff, and Kentucky bourbon makers are responding in kind with increased production. I sure hope Pappy Van Winkles is paying attention!
GOSNELL IS NOT AS MUCH AS AN OUTLIER AS WE'RE BEING TOLD I am so happy Kristen Powers from USA Today is not letting the Kermit Gosnell story go. And now she's taken the time to look around at other clinics in other states as well. What has she found? Clinics being shut down after not being inspected for 15 years. Abortion is so sacred that the actual healthcare and sanitation of these clinics is overlooked. Hardly seems like women are being protected by this carnage.
