ON MY COMPUTER, NOT ON MY PERSON and the only reason I mention it is this particular virus was very interesting. It gave me a very official looking screen that said my computer had been locked by some government organization because I had looked at something offensive, like pictures of children being abused or child porn. Other than the fact I was looking at neither, you know what tipped me off that it was a scam? It offered several ways to "unlock" my screen by providing payment through Moneypal. It was interesting. And now my virus software is battling it. We'll see who wins.

SHOW SOME LEADERSHIP GUVNAH A rather unflattering assessment of how our money is spent by Kentucky Emergency Management was issued yesterday by Auditor Adam Edelon. Money was wasted on booze and dinners, and records were altered to cover it up. The most alarming accusation was one that leadership threatened subordinates with retaliation if they spoke openly to the auditor about waste and abuse. The head of this organization, Brig Gen John W. Heltzel, needs to be fired now, but the Guvnah doesn't want to kick his own appointee to the curb. Remember what we just learned from the Shanklin case though: Democrats are allowed to abuse taxpayer dollars. And though I don't know his party affilation, I know John Heltzel gave $250 to the Democratic Central Executive Committee, so draw your own conclusions.
I'M SURE NOTHING WILL GO WRONG HERE. I'm not a computer person, but I know some people who've made their livings for a long time working on the backside of computer programs we know and love. I've heard countless tales of all nighters as the coders try to insure nothing major fails on a commerce site, and tales of epic failures and what happens when a company does a release before something is ready (Windows 8 anyone?). So I'm sure nothing will go wrong here when the HHS keeps missing it's deadlines to test the security of the Obamacare database. And now has pushed it's final deadline for certification of security to the day before the launch date. This is a DISASTER waiting to happen. And I hope some enterprising, small government loving hacker breaks in and steals the info of everyone who signs up. I don't want them to DO anything with the info, just steal it, and let everyone know it's been stolen. With the weak Republicans, this may be the only chance left to prove the government doesn't deserve this kind of power.
YOU COULDA KNOCKED ME OVER WITH A FEATHER When Mayor for Life Lt. Guvnah Jerry Abramson announced yesterday he isn't running for Guvnah. You have to wonder what internal polling looked like on his run vs. other Democrats.
BEVIN FIRES BACK AT MCCONNELL And apparently, it's gonna be this kind of party until the primary.
