(Headed into this weekend's game between UL and UK, the various contributors of the Sports Pit are giving their breakdown of the game.  Now up is host of the Early Birds on SportsRadio790 from 7-10am, Drew Deener)

This rivalry has a history of either being extremely close or a total blowout.  This year I think it will be the latter of the two.   The Cards have a known quantity at QB, the Cats do not.  While last year’s game was close, the teams were heading in opposite directions.  I think Kentucky peaked in that game, and Louisville was on an upward path.  Both teams have young players, but UofL has GOOD young players where UK just has young players.  If Charlie Strong is allowing his team to select what music they want to listen to at practice, he must be fond of their work on the practice field.  I still think UK wins 5-6 games this year, but not this one.
