(Headed into today's game between UK and UL, the various Sports Pit contributors are giving their predictions for the game.  Next up is Clear Channel Media salesman and huge UK fan, Michael Clark. )

The Cards are heavy favorites, I get that.  They have one of the best, if not best players in the Big East under center in Teddy Bridgewater and a couple of dynamic playmakers around him, including Devante Parker and Dominique Brown.  It’s at Papa John’s and Charlie Strong has the UofL fan base salivating at the potential of this year’s group and the potential for a possible BCSbid at season’s end.

On the flip side, Joker’s seat is toasty and UK NEEDS this game more than Louisville.  There are more question marks for UK on both sides of the ball, but I think Big Blue answers those.  The Wildcats ran for only 35 yards in last year’s contest and I see no scenario where the ground game is that putrid again.  Max Smith will connect with La’Rod King on at least one big pass play and I expect one or two unexpected packages from Randy Sanders to surprise the UofL D.  The  UKD-line will pressure Teddy and knock him around enough to take away his play-making skills.

The weather will play at least some factor before it’s all said and done and in the end:
