Jim Strader is recognized as one of the best outdoor communicators in the country.  His career as an outdoor columnist, radio broadcaster, expo producer and outdoor television host has firmly established Jim as one of the nation’s leading experts on hunting and fishing.

Jim was selected to be the official radio host, press liaison and publicist for the Bass Master’s Classic that was held in Louisville in 1987.  This was the first time in their twenty year history that B.A.S.S. designated an official radio host.  He was also the radio host, publicist and press liaison for The National Wild Turkey Federation National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky in 1993.

The Bass Anglers Sportsman Society selected Jim to be the official radio host, press liaison and publicist for the Bassmaster Classic that was held in Louisville Kentucky in 1987.  This was the first time in their twenty year history that B.A.S.S. designated an official radio host.  He was also the radio host, publicist and press liaison for The National Wild Turkey Federation National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky in 1993.

Guests for Jim Strader’s newspaper columns, radio and television shows have included many of the nation’s finest outdoor celebrities. Jim has hosted fishing pros like B.A.S.S. Tournament Champions Hank Parker, Roland Martin, Bill Dance, and Al Linder. Professional hunters Harold Knight and David Hale, Roger Raglin, Myles Keller, Walter Parrott, and Rob Keck, President of the National Wild Turkey Federation have made guest appearances with Jim.

Celebrity guests have included PGA and Masters Champion Golfer Fuzzy Zoeller, United States Army General Norman Schwarzkopf, Hall of Fame Championship Basketball Coach Denny Crum, NCAA Championship Basketball Coach Joe B. Hall, NFL Quarterback Chris Redman, and Triton Boat Company Founder and President Earl Bentz.
