Once again they showed their resilience in bouncing back from an awful start to win the game. Tom Jurich uncovered a diamond in Coach Strong.
Don't be too discouraged by the basketball loss to UK. The Cards were beaten by a better team, and they had to ad lib with the sudden loss of Rakeem Buckles. Now they have to learn to play without him, and try to keep everyone else healthy. It could be a rough trip through the Big East for U of L, but then it probably won't be a very smooth journey for anyone. It will be imperative for the Cards to get off to a good start with "winnable" games coming up against Seton Hall and at South Florida.
