- According to the American Gas Association, low domestic natural gas prices have led to savings of almost $250 billion for natural gas customers over the past three years. Additionally, a typical residential customer saved more than $175 during 2010 alone, and the average commercial customer saved more than $1,100 on their 2010 annual bill. According to the latest AGA survey, the United States has the largest storage asset of any country in the world with more than 400 natural gas storage fields.
